Indian

Bench Drilling Machines are used for creating hole. The drive from motor is given to
the tool (Drill) held in machine spindle by means of a Belt driven Stepped
pulley (in case of Belt Driven machines): or Gear drive (in case of Geared Head).
The cutting Speed (rpm) is selected depending upon the size of Drill. Larger
the size of Drill slower the cutting speed required. Example: In steel the
normal maximum cutting speed required will not exceed 8000rpm for drills around
1mm diameter. Below 1.0mm diameter recommended drilling speeds start to slow
down. Now the range of cutting speeds is limited in these machines. In case of
a belt driven stepped pulley drive, the no of steps of pulley determines the
range of speeds available. In case of Geared head the gear ratio determines the
range of cutting speeds available. The feed or
Downward movement of the Drill is achieved by means of operator applying force
on the Quill &
Gear arrangement by means of a Handle in case of a manual feed Drilling Machines
and by engaging the gear arrangement in case of an Autofeed Drilling machine.
The production achieved is much more in the
Autofeed Drill machine as the operator
is not required to apply the force which is transmitted by means of gear arrangement. (there
is limitation of feed depending upon the gear ratio)

generation Machines includes Hydraulic / Pneumatic Autofeed Drilling machines

latest technologies to the customers. They are very reliable high output

operate that an unskilled labour can be made to operate this machine with some basic training
of few hours.Also a single
operator can operate more than one machine at a time thus reducing the labour
cost.

and reliable method of speed change and allows operator to find the ideal speed
without changing
the belt. The speed ratio is infinite and can be changed very quickly.
Electronic variable speed control
gives a digital display of speed.

Autofeed by means of a Hydraulic/ pneumatic power pack: With
this system the feed can beadjusted
within microns (infinitely variable speed) as per the job and thus increases
the production. The entire
system is connected to a electronic panel having push buttons. On pressing
cycle on the Drill descends towards the job with high speed and then feed mode
is activated and once the desired depth is
achieved the Drill traverse back quickly, Thus reducing the cycle time. These
machines can be customised as per the customer’s job and tooling solutions
along with work holding fixtures are also designed.
